Walter Carl Depken, age 84, of Rocky Point, New York died Friday, April 17, 2020. Walter was born May 31, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late Fred and the late Joanna (Riekemann) Depken. He served in the Army from 1956 to 1958. He was employed by the Suffolk County Department Of Public Works as a Surveyor. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joan (Spielmann) Depken and one loving daughter, Laura Carol of Scotia, New York. He is the grandfather of six cherished grandchildren. Walter was predeceased by his dear son, Carl. All arrangements including burial in Calverton National Cemetery are private and were entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York.
