John P. Borisuck, Sr., age 87, of Farmingville, New York died Tuesday, February 2, 2021. John was born May 1, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late Philip and the late Anna (Yarris) Borisuck. He was a proud veteran in the Army during the the Korean war. He was employed by Vita Foods, Brooklyn, New York as a Fish Packer. He is survived by his beloved wife Dolores (Trunkes) Borisuck, his loving children, Jodi Assarro of Lindenhurst, New York , Daniel Borisuck of Hicksville, New York, John Borisuck, Jr. of Farmingville, New York and Philip Borisuck of Glendale, New York. He is also the cherished grandfather of eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Visiting hours will be Monday, February 8, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Washington Memorial Park, Mount Sinai, New York. New York State mandates for social distancing will be followed. Masks must be worn. Please be mindful that visitors are limited to 30 people in the building at a time and be respectful to those who may be waiting to visit by keeping your stay brief, if possible.
