Betty Jean Blakeney, age 80, of Calverton, New York died Monday, March 22, 2021. Betty Jean was born March 29, 1940 in Charleston, South Carolina. She is the daughter of the late James and the late Nola (Truluck) Hinnant. She was employed as a Nurse's Aide in John T. Mather Memorial Hospital, Port Jefferson, New York. She is survived by her loving children, Catherine Heller of Wading River, New York, Grover Morgan of Calverton, New York, Paul Blakeney of Calverton, New York, James Morgan of Rocky Point, New York and Kenny Morgan of Riverhead, New York. She is the dear sister of Sally Miller of Georgia, Jacqueline Ryder of New Jersey, and James Hinnant of Georgia. Betty Jean was also the cherished grandmother of Brett Heller and Paige Heller.
