Felix P. Olson, Jr., age 89, of Rocky Point, New York died Monday, April 26, 2021. Felix was born September 29, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late Felix P. and the late Juanita (Cruz) Olson. He proudly served in the Army during the Korean war. He was employed by Babylon Post Office, Babylon, New York as a Mailman. Felix was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jean (1998) and his son, Glen (2004). He is survived by his loving daughter, Lori (Cort) Tamberino of Rocky Point, New York, one dear brother, George Olson of Brooklyn, New York, and two cherished grandchildren. All arrangements including private cremation were entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Religious service will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 7:00 PM. Memorial visitation will be Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at the Funeral Home. The family has asked everyone to following CDC Honor system guidelines, all entering without a mask are assumed to be fully vaccinated. They will not have to social distance.
