Mauro Bassi, age 91, of Riverhead, New York died Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Mauro was born October 28, 1929 in Patras, Greece. He is the son of the late Cosmas and the late Anunziata (Bartolo) Bassi. He was employed as a hairstylist in Manhattan, New York. He is survived by his loving children, Daniel Bassi, Antonio Bassi, and Valentina Winchell. He is also the cherished grandfather of Kaitlyn Winchell, Taliana Bassi and Ryal Bassi. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Port Jefferson, New York. Visitation will be on Saturday October 2, 2021 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York.
