Obituary of Mary Joan Lennon

Mary Joan Lennon, age 89, of Rocky Point, New York died Friday, November 19, 2021. Mary was born December 24, 1931 in the Bronx, New York. She is the daughter of the late John and the late Frances (Rada) Balga. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John M. Lennon on 3/21/2021. She was employed by the NYC Board Of Education as a School Lunch Manager. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Susan Wilson of Rocky Point, New York and Diane Gioia of New Hyde Park, New York. She is also the cherished grandmother of four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. All arrangements including private visitation have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Celebration of the Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Friday, November 26, 2021 at St. Anthony Of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. Burial will follow in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, New York.
