Obituary of Evelyn A. Benneci

Evelyn A. (Mirabile) Benneci, age 106, of Ridge, New York, formerly of Albany, New York died Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Forest View Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, Forest Hills, New York. Evelyn was born October 18, 1915 in Albany, New York. She is the daughter of the late Carmelo and the late Concetta (Losi) Mirabile. She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo Benneci and loving Mother of the late Angela (Benneci) Currie. She is survived by Nephews, Charles A. (Theresa) Mirabile and Anthony Restifo, Jr., Great Nephews, Joseph (Stephanie) Mirabile, Daniel and Matthew Mirabile, Great-Great Niece Karleigh Mirabile and Great-Great Nephew Nicholas Mirabile. She is also survived by her Cousin Anthony (Queenie) Losi and her Son-in-law Douglas Currie. She was predeceased by her Brother Joseph A. Mirabile and Sister, Nancy (Anthony) Restifo. Evelyn graduated from Philip Schuyler High School in Albany, New York and Pratt Institute in New York City. She worked for many years in the Art Supply Business in New York City, which she truly enjoyed and was very good at. She always had a keen eye for fine art work. After retirement Evelyn enjoyed traveling, spending holidays with her family and especially having bagels and coffee with the girls. The family extends heartfelt appreciation to the nursing staff and caregivers at Forest View where Evelyn spent her final years. Services will be held at a later date in Albany, New York. . .
