Obituary of Konrad Haug

Konrad Haug, age 86, of Ridge, New York died Saturday, April 30, 2022. Konrad was born January 1, 1936 in Kriedin, Yugoslavia. He is the son of the late Karl and the late Elisabetha (Hess) Haug. He served in the Army from 06-14-1960 to 06-12-1962. He was employed by Arka Knitwear, Ridgewood, New York as a Mechanic. He is survived by his beloved wife, Liane (Watzlawik) Haug , one loving daughter, Peggy (James) Kraus of Hampton Bays, New York and one loving son, Norman (Susan) Haug of New Hyde Park, New York. He is the dear brother of Helga Hartan, and the cherished grandfather of Megan, Brian, Thomas, Lucas and Willy. Memorial Services will be held 11am, Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Christ Our Saviour Lutheran Church 9 Terrace Drive Hampton Bays New York. All arrangements including private cremation and private placement of cremated remains in a niche at Calverton National Cemetery have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York.
