Obituary of Margaret M. O'Hara

Margaret M. O'Hara, age 94, of Ridge, New York died Saturday, May 14, 2022.  Margaret was born  March 14, 1928 in West Orange, New Jersey. She is the daughter of the late Albert and the late Rose (Cipollone) Ussia.  She was employed by GEICO, Woodbury, New York as an Underwriter, and volunteer of Friends of the Library in Shoreham. She was a 50 year survivor of breast cancer. She was an active parishioner of St Martin of Tours Church in Bethpage for over 45 years and more recently St Anthony of Padua RC Church Rocky Point. She is survived by her loving children, Nancy Hope (Gordon) of Miller Place, New York, Janet Oliveri (Michael) of East Islip, New York, and John M. O'Hara Jr (Melissa) of Mississippi.  She is also the cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Margaret was predeceased by her husband John of 70 years and her daughter Kristine Yosco (Michael survives).  All arrangements including private cremation have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 am on Monday, May 23, 2022, at St. Anthony of Padua R. C.
