Robert Henry Kurz, age 74, of Ridge, New York died Monday, February 27, 2023. Robert was born April 7, 1948 in Cypress Hills, New York. He is the son of the late Bordley and the late Katherine (Herzberger) Kurz. He served in the Army from 1968 to 1970 during the Vietnam conflict. He was employed in New York City, New York as an Alarm Installer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jane (Korpacz) Kurz and two sons, Brian Kurz of West Islip, New York and Michael Kurz of N. Bellmore, New York. He is the loving brother of Carolyn Shea of Bethpage, New York and is also the cherished grandfather of Brett, Sarah & Benjamin. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Religious services will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 4:30 PM. Visiting hours will be at the funeral home on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 9:30 AM for a closing prayer at 10:00 AM and we will go together to Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, New York for burial with military honors.
